About The Greenville Attachment Parenting Playgroup

Our group consists of local families who are dedicated to raising their children naturally, and following some or all of the Attachment Parenting principles. For some, that means eating organic or raw, for others it means non-punitive discipline, and even others it manifests in delayed or non-vaxing. You can learn more about Attachment Parenting here.

No matter the manifestation of "natural parenting," every member is dedicated to nurturing a safe environment, free of negativity or extreme criticism, which so many of us have felt in other groups because of our parenting decisions. Our group exists to provide a warm, loving, encouraging place for mothers (and fathers!) to come together to learn and help one another in the parenting journey, as well as to provide safe playdates for our children.

We do a lot of outdoor meetups, like meeting to walking together in parks, or going to the playground, or the zoo. We also have playdates in our homes, especially when the weather gets too cold for playgrounds.

How to join the Greenville Attachment Parenting Playgroup:
Just click on the link to join the group and fill out your profile questionnaire completely and upload a picture of yourself.

Guidelines for membership:

*Please fill out ALL the questions in the Meetup profile and post a picture to your profile. Any requests for membership that are not accompanied by a completed profile and picture will be considered incomplete applications.

*Stay as active as possible, whether your activity is via the message board or attending events. This is designed to keep our members safe. We don't want to have "lurkers" in the background getting access to our members and their children. If you feel you will not be able to be active for a period of time please let the organizer know that you still are interested in the group so you won't be removed. We understand life gets hectic sometimes! But please sign in to the site at least once every thirty days so we know you still want to be a part of our group.
