Homeschool Convention?

Is anyone going to the HS convention? I was thinking of going, just to check it out. I have a few more years before I even need to get started, but I would like to get a jump start on planning. I was just curious if anyone else was going, if you have been before and when might be the best time to go (least crowded)....?

I went yesterday... it was weird...well, honestly I couldn't stay long enough to get a true idea of what it is like...all I know is that I was cornered by some crazy lady who kept trying to make me drink some red stuff from a sample cup...all I could think was "don't drink the Kool-Aid".... She seriously wouldn't leave me alone....! I actually complained about her on the way out...

On a more serious note...they had a bunch of booths selling different homeschool curriculum. Most were very strongly Christian based...I didn't get to stay long because Alyssa started fussing and I was scared I'd get cornered by the crazy juice lady again. I'll probably go check it out again when Alyssa is a few years older...I want to get a head start...
