Northern Wake Preschool and Kindergarten Cooperative

We are a preschool co-op that meets regularly (Wednesday mornings) for co-op homeschool "classes". I say "classes" with quotes because our regular "classes" are mostly playdates, with a little fun learning thrown in. We rotate between our homes, going to a different family's house each week. So far we have had a "Five Senses" theme and a day of cooking. Who knows what will come next?

We also try to get together at least one other day during the week for field trips or park dates, etc.

What we are: A group of families hoping to meet up with other parents of preschool age children who perhaps believe in Attachment Parenting, Homeschooling, and other ideas separate from the ESTABLISHMENT. We have families in Wake Forest, N. Raleigh, Knightdale, Henderson, and nearby.

My family personally will be homeschooling as our children get older and we don't want to send them to preschool now. Yet we would like the positive experience of at least some group learning, in the home setting, with friends of similar ages. Our goal is to make friends we will (hopefully) have for years and years to come! Anyone interested?
